A man charged with stabbing a Green Bay police K-9 last year will undergo another competency exam.
Thirty-year-old Sai Vang was in Brown County Court today.
Prosecutors say Pyro was trying to help take Vang into custody when the dog was stabbed.
Police were called to the 1300 block of Western Avenue last April, for a report that Vang threatened to kill his father. They were told he was schizophrenic.
Pyro recovered after surgery, and he returned to duty several weeks later.
