A court commissioner is ordering a trial for the Menasha man charged with killing a man, during a robbery at a Neenah bar.
Winnebago County prosecutors say Casey Cameron shot Kevin “Hollywood” Hein, after holding up the Short Branch Saloon last October.
Cameron was in court for a preliminary hearing yesterday. Prosecutors say his DNA was on a bandana that was found outside the bar. Cameron’s girlfriend was a bartender there, but she wasn’t working that night.
Attorney Jonathan Martin is Cameron’s lawyer, and he believes there are some holes in the prosecution’s theory. He says the DNA of an unknown, third man was at the scene, so that person could be a suspect.
