There’s a new leader of the Wisconsin National Guard.
Governor Evers is appointing Brig. Gen. Paul Knapp to the job. Knapp is currently the mobilization assistant to the Commander of the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center.
He’s served in the Air Force and Air Force Reserve for 28 years. Knapp is an Antigo native, and he lives in Whitefish Bay.
Evers called for the resignation of Maj. Gen. Donald Dunbar last December, after an investigation into how the guard handled sexual assault and sexual harassment accusations.
