Prosecutors are charging a junior at Bay Port High School with threatening to “shoot up” the school.
They say 17-year-old Javon Kempen is banned from school grounds because of a history of fights and drugs. He’s taking online classes.
Prosecutors say Kempen went to the school on Monday, and asked to come back. They say he got mad when he was told that wouldn’t happen.
He’s accused of posting the threat on the social media app Snapchat.
Kempen is charged with a felony count of making a terrorist threat.
