Shawano police say two people died in a crash on the city’s east side late this morning.
They say a 76-year-old woman drove through a stop sign at the corner of Richmond Street and Airport Drive and hit a car. A 76-year-old Shawano man and a 73-year-old Shawano woman were in the car, and they died at the scene.
The Waubeno woman was driving a truck, and she has critical injuries. She was flown by helicopter to a hospital in the Fox Cities.
