The names of two penguin chicks at the NEW Zoo are Gilbert and Linus.
The zoo in the Green Bay area held an online vote, and Gilbert and Linus got 78 percent. Gilbert is named after Dr. Tracey Gilbert, the zoo’s veterinarian for almost 30 years.
The zoo collected $1 for each vote, and the donations are going to help African penguin conservation efforts.
