Fox Valley Technical College is adding multiple languages to its law enforcement program.
Students are going into training situations with people that speak different languages.
International Programs Manager Allisen Stojanovich says the students need to figure out how to communicate. She says they’ll remember more by going through real-life experiences, instead of getting language lessons in a classroom.
Fox Valley Tech has students from 45 countries, and they’re helping train the future police officers.
