Local entrepreneurs could get some help from a new group.
The New North is creating the NEW Launch Initiative with help from a grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
New North Executive Director Barb LaMue says they hope to connect with entrepreneurs by setting up a digital system, and then getting them together with other businesses. She says if there are questions or issues, then they’ll work with their network to try to address them.
The Alliance will receive $30,000. Eight other organizations are also getting grants. They include $38,000 for the Oconto County Economic Development Corporation.
