People will get a chance to learn more about the candidates in several Winnebago County races over the next week.
The county chapter of the League of Women Voters is holding several forums.
The first is tonight at Menasha’s library. Chapter President Margy Davey says incumbent Menasha Mayor Don Merkes and challenger Rebecca Nichols will answer questions, starting at 7 p.m.
City council candidates in Districts 2 and 4 will be there at 6 p.m.
On Thursday, candidates for seats on the Winnebago County Board and Neenah City Council will meet at Neenah City Hall, starting at 6:30 p.m.
Next Monday, there are forums with the Neenah school board candidates, and people running for Oshkosh city council and the Oshkosh school board.

Tuesday, March 10
Candidates for Menasha alderman James Taylor (incumbent) and Joe Sherry, who are running to represent District 2, and Mark Langdon (incumbent) and Lindsey Klumpp, who are running to represent District 4 will square off on Tuesday, March 10, at 6 p.m. at the Elisha D. Smith Public Library.
At 7 p.m., the forum will feature the candidates for Menasha mayor: Rebecca Nichols and Don Merkes (incumbent).
Thursday, March 12
Candidates for Winnebago County Supervisor District 9 incumbent Donald Nussbaum and challenger Brian Falck at 6:30 p.m. will respond to questions at Neenah City Hall, 211 Walnut St., on Thursday, March 12, at 6:30 p.m.
Candidates for Neenah Alderman District 2 incumbent Tami Erickson and challenger David Williams will take the stage at 7:15 p.m.
Monday, March 16th
Four candidates running for three seats on the Neenah Joint District School Board, including incumbent Deborah Watry as well as Marcelo Garcia, Tom Hanby, and Amy Morrissey, will be featured at a forum at the Neenah Public Library on Monday, March 16, at 6:00 p.m. This event is co-sponsored by Fox Cities Advocates for Public Education.
Candidates for Oshkosh City Council (6:30-7:45 p.m.) and Oshkosh Area School Board (7:45-8:45 p.m.) will take questions at Oshkosh City Hall, 215 Church Ave., on Monday, March 16.
Six candidates are vying for three seats on the Oshkosh City Council: incumbents Matt Mugerauer and Bill Miller; challengers Lynnsey Erickson, Michael Ford, Danny Garcia, and Robert Wilcox. Incumbent Steve Herman is not seeking re-election.
Three candidates are seeking two seats on the Oshkosh Area School Board: incumbents Barb Herzog and Bob Poeschl, and challenger Jen Sullivan.
