A sexually violent offender living in a Green Bay neighborhood is now in jail for possibly breaking rules.
Bruce Brown was taken into custody on a probation hold. Brown was living in a home on Liberty Street, and neighbors objected.
Police Chief Andrew Smith believes Brown never should have been placed in that house. He says it’s concerning that he wasn’t even in the house for week, and they already had to pull him out for a possible rule violation.
The 56-year-old Brown was convicted of multiple sexual assaults in the Milwaukee area, dating back to the 1970s. The victims were children he didn’t know.
