All K-12 schools around the state will close next Wednesday.
Governor Evers is making the decision. It covers all public and private schools.
Evers says the closure will start on Wednesday, March 18th to give school districts time to make plans for kids, families, teachers, and staff. He says districts can decide to close earlier than Wednesday.
Evers is planning to reopen the schools on April 6th, but that date can change.
