Winnebago County’s top prosecutor is clearing three police officers of any wrongdoing in a deadly police shooting in Fox Crossing.
District Attorney Christian Gossett says 32-year-old Rory Behling fired a shot at SWAT officers while they were trying to arrest him in January.
The state justice department says the three officers fired at Behling when he pulled out a gun. Behling was wanted on drug charges, and investigators believe he also rammed a Neenah police car several days earlier.
