Home sales across the state slipped a bit last month, but overall it was a busy last few months.
David Clark of the Wisconsin Realtors Association says they set a record for the best three-month winter period, since they changed the way they tracked sales, in 2007. He says December and January were big months, at a time when it’s the slowest part of the year for home sales.
The statewide median price rose almost nine percent in February, to $190,000.
The housing market is facing some uncertainty, with the coronavirus pandemic. Clark says it wouldn’t be surprising to see a decline in sales, because a lot of economic activity is slowing down.
