In the middle of everything else that’s going on right now, don’t forget to register to vote!
Wednesday, March 18 is the last day to register to vote online or by mail. Starting March 19, registration is still available in person at your municipal clerk’s office until the Friday before the election and on Election Day at the polling place.
And if you’re concerned about public exposure right now, you can easily request an absentee ballot online, avoiding your trip to a crowded polling place on April 7. You can request your absentee ballot until April 2, but to ensure you receive it in time it’s recommended that you don’t wait that long.
MyVote.WI.gov is also a great resource to find your polling place and to find out what’s on your ballot in advance of showing up at the polls, allowing you the opportunity to better inform your decisions when voting.
