The two candidates for mayor met in an online forum Thursday night.
Jake Woodford and Jim Clemons will be on the ballot on April 7th.
Woodford is a special assistant to the president of Lawrence University. He says he has education, management experience and passion for the work. He thinks that will help the community navigate the current complicated times, and move toward a shared vision for the future of the city.
Clemons spent 20 years as an alderman, before leaving the council six years ago. He says because of his experience, people know how he would handle the job. He says he would listen to all ideas, and come up with a solution.
The Appleton Post Crescent ran a live video of the forum, and the candidates answered questions for about an hour.
