Jon Bon Jovi is busy, even in isolation.
We reported earlier on his efforts helping out his JBJ Soul Kitchen last week. Now Jon is writing new music while staying home, and he’s asking fans to write their own second verse.
“These are uneasy times we’re dealing with, but we’re all in this together. I wrote the first verse and the chorus. Write me a verse. Let’s tell your story….#DoWhatYouCan”
The song’s chorus states, “When you can’t do what you do, you do what you can.” A great message, and a nice way to bring fans together during uncertain times.
Bon Jovi also inspired a city-wide sing-along in Chicago over the weekend as stranded-at-home Chicagoans began singing “Livin’ on a Prayer” from their balconies.
WAPL and Razor 94.7/104.7 are planning something similar for this Friday with Foo Fighters’ “Times Like These.” Check out details on how you can join us (from home, of course)!
