Based on this video, talent definitely runs in the Mustaine family. Amid everything shutting down, the Megadeth frontman shared a video to his Instagram account of he and his daughter covering the Beatles’ hit, “Come Together.”
“Come together! Right now… QUARANTINE!
Here’s a lil’ #MyMusicMoment with my dad, @davemustaine, someone who I’d never want to lose! THAT is why the Mustaine’s stay home. We hope you do too!🖤🏡 🧼 Wash your hands, 😷 practice social distancing, 😊 & stay healthy.”
#repost | @electramustaine “The @alzassociation has put together a great compilation of music featuring award-winning artists, from Sting to Anthony Hamilton to Joan Jett to bring us all “virtually together” during this time. Music is medicine! Visit alz.org/MusicMoments to listen and watch the artists’ storytelling videos. Remember…we’re #InThisTogether!!”
This is all part of campaign and album released by the Alzheimer’s Association earlier this month called “Music Moments.” The album “features award-winning artists coming together for a collection of new recordings and unreleased tracks. These songs honor the personal, emotional connection between music and the most important moments in life that we never want to lose. Each track is paired with behind-the-scenes videos and personal stories connected to the songs they selected.”
