The DOT is planning to resurface Highway 47, north of Appleton, in five years.
The agency is asking for comments on the plans from the community now.
Project Manager Tim Rank says they’re going to work on the stretch between Highway JJ in Grand Chute, and Burdick Street in Black Creek.
Rank says in the rural part of the project, they’re going to pave more of the shoulder and put in rumble strips. He says they’ll also replace some culverts.
In Black Creek, there will be some repairs to the storm sewers.
The DOT has a website with the designs.
