State health officials are offering to help communities prepare for more coronavirus patients.
Secretary Andrea Palm of the Department of Health Services says they’re working with them on how to set up field hospitals and voluntary isolation centers. She says they’re actively looking at a number of locations, and working with local governments on how they can work regionally to set them up.
Governor Evers says the state is working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on developing field hospitals. He says they’re planning for the worst, and hoping for the best.
