The leader of the Democrats in the state Senate isn’t going to run for another term.
Sen. Jennifer Shilling of La Crosse plans to spend more time with her family.
She’s been in the Legislature for 20 years. She spent 11 years in the Assembly, before she was elected to the Senate in 2011.
Shilling became the Senate Minority Leader in 2014.
