Pearl Jam and Soundgrarden drummer Matt Cameron has released a lyric video for the first track off an upcoming solo album.
“Down the Middle” is recorded with Buzz Osborne and Steven McDonald of The Melvins. That seminal Northwest band backs him on the album, along with longtime Melvins associate Toshi Kasai and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Cameron’s previous solo album, “Cavedweller,” was released in 2017. For that album, Cameron worked with drummer Mark Giuliana and bassist Tim Lefebvre, who had backed David Bowie on his final album, “Blackstar.”
