The results from last week’s election will start coming out this afternoon.
Local clerks can start putting out the numbers after 4 p.m. That’s the deadline for them to receive any more absentee ballots.
In-person voting was last Tuesday, and candidates have had to wait to see if they’ll win.
The biggest race is for Appleton mayor. Jake Woodford and Jim Clemons are trying to take over for longtime Mayor Tim Hanna. Hanna didn’t run for re-election after 24 years in office.
There are also races for mayor in Menasha, Kaukauna, and New London.
There are school referendum questions in the Neenah, Wrightstown, and Ashwaubenon districts.
