The state will provide an additional $5.2 million for online learning programs in public schools.
State Superintendent of Schools Carolyn Stanford Taylor says the money will put computers in the hands of kids from districts that couldn’t afford them.
The money is coming from the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands and the Common School Fund.
