A federal agency will let the Ho-Chunk Nation open a casino and entertainment complex in Beloit.
But the tribe will still need permission from Governor Evers.
When he was running for governor, Evers said he would approve it. After he was elected, he said he would carefully review the proposed casino.
The casino would be along I-39-90, and the Ho-Chunk Nation believes it would create 1,5000 jobs.
