A Hortonville man is accused of stabbing a woman in a car.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department says the 31-year-old was riding along Highway 45 around 10:45 p.m., with a 34-year-old Wittenberg woman and her four-year old daughter.
Deputies say he attacked the woman with a knife and slashed her throat.
The woman and child escaped and another driver picked them up and took them to a hospital.
The suspect was arrested at the scene.
