A gas leak forced part of a neighborhood on Appleton’s north side to evacuate.
Construction crews severed a high-pressure line at the corner of Morrison and Spring streets around 8 a.m. Several nearby homes and buildings were cleared as a precaution.
We Engeries crews were able to cap the leak.
