February 6th City of Sheboygan
A police officer parked a police SUV in the parking lot behind the courthouse. However, the officer left the vehicle running, exited and began to lock the door when he noticed the vehicle rolling backwards towards the courthouse. The police vehicle then crashed into an entrance way to the courthouse, causing damage to the rear window, hatchback and right rear quarter panel. This week, questions about the accident were raised after a video of the damaged vehicle going through a car wash without a rear window went viral.
March 12th City of Appleton
A woman who was standing on her apartment patio smoking and coughing at 4:00am called to report seeing a man standing outside a nearby apartment building neither smoking nor coughing which she apparently thought looked suspicious. The man turned out to be Rick McNeal waiting for his ride to work.
March 11th Fond du Lac County
Officers responded to a call from a BP station on Highway 45 in Van Dyne where a 27-year-old male customer reportedly ingested two batteries, two forks, and two spoons.
March 8th City of Green Bay
Police responded to a call from Bay Park Square where a female customer was reportedly causing a scene, throwing things…and using fake coupons.
March 9th City of Green Bay
Officers were called to a University Avenue location where two people were reportedly involved in a physical altercation. When police arrived, they found two adult males who were “play fighting”.
February 20th Village of Pewaukee
Police arrested a 32-year-old man after he allegedly stole his girlfriend’s car and intentionally left it parked on some railroad tracks. The man told police he left the car to be destroyed on the railroad tracks because his girlfriend “railroaded” his life. Canadian Pacific Railroad was aware of the incident and stopped all trains through that crossing until the car was towed away.
February 24th City of Waukesha
A man asked a woman who was getting out of her car if he could “purchase hugs”. The woman told police she found the idea “a bit creepy”.
March 2nd City of Brookfield
A resident called 911 and told the dispatcher that, “someone is on the roof”. The caller told police for the last few YEARS a neighbor has been crawling on the roof and having an affair with his spouse.
February 22nd City of Cudahy
Police were called when a man who saw his ex-girlfriend had covered up a tattoo of his name on her hand with another tattoo allegedly “flipped,” by pouring a 20-oz Mountain Dew on a television, Xbox One, and the woman’s bed.
March 8th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A man called police and reported someone broke into his room and left something behind. Responding officers learned a identified person had left a cuddly stuffed bear for the man.
March 7th Town of Grand Rapids
A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the area. The caller said he warned the woman behind the wheel to stop driving there because she was bothering his livestock. The woman reportedly told the man that she was driving in the area because her dog likes watching the cows.
March 4th City of Neenah
A Harrison Street caller wanted to speak to an officer about some new tenants that are moving into his apartment complex. An officer found the caller has issues with his new neighbors because of their size.
February 19th City of Whitefish Bay
A man called police to his home to report two men were stealing his furniture. The man, who was not home at the time, observed the two men on surveillance video. When police spoke with the man’s wife, they learned she was having new furniture delivered as a surprise for her husband.
February 22nd City of Port Washington
Police cited a 37-year-old man for disorderly conduct after he mooned and “flipped off” his neighbors. It is unclear from the police report if the mooning was provoked.
February 16th City of Brookfield
A couple was heard screaming by nearby residents. The caller couldn’t make out what the woman was screaming but could hear a man screaming as well. The caller said it was the second time this week the screaming was overheard. Officers spoke to the husband and wife and it was determined it wasn’t a domestic situation but rather a ‘consensual encounter’.
February 14th City of Brookfield
A man called police and reported a turkey sitting in the same spot for three hours.
February 16th City of Brookfield
A man in a white Nissan threw a water bottle at another driver. The assailant was driving in the wrong lane and a passenger in the other car called the man a ‘ding a ling’ which caused the man to become angry.
February 21st City of Waukesha
A boy who locked himself out of his house reported himself to police as a suspicious person, hoping he would be picked up by police so that he could get a ride to school. The boy was wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt and no other outerwear to protect himself against the weather so sheriff’s deputies…gave the boy a ride to school.
March 3rd City of Green Bay
Police officers responded to a report of a woman at the Main Avenue Burger King “making funny noises” in the bathroom.
March 2nd City of Sheboygan
A man on North 37th Street called police to report that two strange women are watching TV with him.
February 20th City of Neenah
A West Cecil Street woman called police to report her boyfriend told her a friend of his stole her car and hit a garbage can at the gas station. The boyfriend later confessed to hitting a garbage can on County A while driving the car himself.
February 27th City of Appleton
A large Packer colored slinky was spotted lying in the road on Ballard Street. It is not clear if the slinky was large enough to obstruct traffic.
February 28th Shawano County
A number of residents reported being victims of crimes involving mustard and bologna.
