Crews laid the final steel beam today for the new Resch Expo Center in Ashwaubenon.
Brown County Deputy Executive Jeff Flynt says that piece of steel was the longest, tallest, and heaviest for the entire project, and it’s now in place.
The $93 million project is on schedule. Flynt says they’ll continue to work on the inside of the building, and the aesthetics of the outside, to get it ready for January of 2021.
The Resch Expo Center will replace the Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena and Shopko Hall. They were both torn down last year.
