About 14 local churches will hold a prayer gathering tomorrow evening at Houdini Plaza in downtown Appleton.
Pastor Charles Butler of Breakthrough Covenant Church in Appleton says it’s time to call on God, and ask for direction. He says the hour-long service will consist of prayer, repentance, and racial reconciliation.
The prayer service starts at 6 p.m.
Butler stresses it’s not a protest. He says the service should last about an hour, and people are encouraged to bring a chair or something to sit on.
