The man accused of killing three people in a crash in Green Bay is now facing homicide charges.
Brown County prosecutors are filing three counts of second-degree reckless homicide against 22-year-old Abdi Ahmed.
District Attorney David Lasee says witnesses report Ahmed was going up to 90 miles an hour on Lombardi Avenue, before he hit the turning car.
He says they’ve heard six complaints about speeding and reckless driving tied to the same car this year. He reports one was within the past 10 days, when the car was spotted going about 90 miles an hour, without headlights, at 10:30 p.m.
Ahmed is in custody on a $100,000 bond. He’s scheduled to be back in court later next month.
