A garage on Appleton’s southeast side is a total loss after a fire yesterday evening. No one was hurt.
Crews were called to a home in the 1200 block of South Walden Avenue around 6:45 p.m. They were able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby homes, but they both have some heat damage. The cause is still under investigation.
