People using an antenna to watch TV will notice some changes to a few local channels.
The FCC is changing TV frequencies to open airwaves for new high-speed wireless services.
Spokeswoman Jean Kiddoo says people will have to scan for new signals. She points out it’s a fairly simply process that people did when they first got their TV.
She says they’ve been working on the change over the past two weeks. Kiddoo says cable and satellite subscribers won’t have to re-scan, because their service provider will do that for them.
Kiddoo was a guest on AM Fox Valley.
