There are some more things to do in the former Highway 10-441 construction zone.
Work will start next week to replace concrete joints in eight locations.
DOT Project Manager Tom Buchholz says inspectors found some durability issues, and the contractor will pay to fix them. He says they’ll also put in rumble strips along the shoulders of both sides of the road.
Buchholz expects it will take three to four weeks, and there will be some lane and ramp closures. He says it got too cold last November to start the projects.
