Lawrence University plans to reopen the campus in the fall.
President Mark Burstein says they’re working with Bellin Health to test all students, faculty, and staff when they return to the school. They’ll be tested again 14 days later.
Burstein says they’ll also do periodic samplings after that.
The school will give students the option to stay home, and learn online. Burstein says faculty and staff can decide to teach their classes online, if they don’t want to be on campus.
People on campus will need to wear masks inside buildings, and follow social distancing rules. Burstein reports they’re reworking classroom spaces, and recalibrating their heating and cooling systems to prevent spread.
