Violent crime is on the rise in Oshkosh. The Police Department’s annual report shows the number of assaults and sex offenses increased by eight percent in 2019. The report also finds that property crimes were up by seven percent last year. Overdose cases and deaths were up–but drug arrests were down. Drunk driving arrests also declined by nine to 242 for the year.
