For the third time in four days, the state has more than 1,000 new confirmed coronavirus cases.
There are 1,018 new ones, and nearly 47,000 overall.
The state is reporting 5.8 percent of new tests came back positive. That’s down from 6.9 percent yesterday, but higher than Wednesday’s total of 4.8 percent.
The state received a record number of test results, with more than 17,000 today. The previous high was 16,451 on June 3rd.
There were no new reported deaths.
There are 9,688 active cases, and that’s nearly twice as many as one month ago.
Brown County has 21 new cases, Outagamie 20, Winnebago 12, Waupaca 11, and Fond du Lac 10.
Shawano and Manitowoc both added five.
Calumet has three more, and Kewaunee two.
