Wisconsin’s incoming state Supreme Court justice says she’ll be sworn in while running an ultramarathon.
Liberal-leaning Justice-elect Jill Karofsky defeated conservative incumbent Daniel Kelly in April, to narrow the court’s conservative majority to 4-to-3.
She’ll be sworn in on Saturday, during a 100-mile event through southcentral Wisconsin. Karofsky says she’ll pause at the 35-mile marker for an outdoor ceremony with social distancing guidelines.
