The government offices of the Menominee Nation are closing, and the tribe is setting a curfew.
Officials say there’s an “alarming rise” in cases, including at their offices.
Staff will work remotely for two weeks, but essential services will stay open, along with the Menominee Casino.
Workers from four government departments have tested positive, and they’ve had direct contact with people from three other departments.
The curfew will be in place until the end of August. It will run from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
The tribe is also urging people to stay home as much as possible for the next two weeks, avoid gatherings or parties, and wear masks.
