Appleton’s health officer says parents should put together plans, in case their child needs to be quarantined, after going back to school.
Kurt Eggebrecht says if there’s a positive case in a classroom, some or all of the students might have to stay away from the school building for 14 days. He says they would look for close contacts.
Because of the Appleton school district’s plans, and the setup of the classrooms, Eggebrecht says they wouldn’t necessarily have to close a school, if there’s a positive case.
