The Oshkosh Common Council will consider a mask mandate next month.
Council members are asking city staff to draft a law similar to the one adopted in Green Bay. That one requires a mask in all public buildings. Eric Lenz lives in Oshkosh. He’s already threatening a lawsuit. Council member Jake Krause says: “The people who are choosing to wear masks are not scared individuals. They are the people trying to keep our community safe and healthy–which is what we all strive to do every day. They are the true patriots of this city.”
The council will vote on the mask mandate on August 12th.
