For the second time in three days, there are more than 1,000 new confirmed coronavirus cases in Wisconsin.
The state is reporting 1,062 more cases, while 7.1 percent of tests came back positive.
That’s the highest figure since 8.5 percent Monday. Yesterday’s was 5.4 percent, and Thursday’s was 6.1 percent.
There are 9,753 active cases in Wisconsin, and that’s 82 more.
The state has had 54,002 confirmed cases overall.
Another 13 people died, bringing the statewide total to 947.
Brown County has 43 new cases and Winnebago 27.
Outagamie and Fond du Lac each have 16 more.
Oconto added 14, Calumet 10, Waupaca nine, Manitowoc eight, and Shawano six.
Kewaunee and Waushara both have one new case.
