Jurors didn’t take long to reach a verdict in a double murder in Hobart.
Jacob Cayer was on trial for the deaths of his ex-girlfriend, Sabrina Teague, and her mother, Sunny Teague. Her boyfriend, Joel Kennedy, was stabbed, and survived in June of 2016.
The jury found Cayer guilty of all charges, in about an hour.
The second phase of the trial will start this morning, because Cayer also entered an insanity plea. He testified his memories of what happened are fuzzy.
Jurors will have to decide if Cayer was criminally responsible for the killings.
