Some major changes are coming to high school sports in Wisconsin this fall.
The WIAA Board of Control approved a new plan where schools will be given the option to opt out of all fall sports, and move those seasons to the spring.
If schools do play football in the fall, there will only be two weeks of playoffs.
The winter sports tournaments have also been moved up. The girls basketball tourney will be played in February, and the boys tournament will wrap up the first weekend in March.
