There’s a new online tool that a state agency hopes people will use before they consider getting together with others.
Stephanie Smiley of the Department of Health Services says there are a series of questions to try to help people think about different factors when they’re deciding about whether to host a family reunion, or other types of things.
The questions include if there will be enough space for everyone to stay six feet apart, the length of the gathering, and how many people would be there.
Smiley says they know more people are going to parties and other events because of contact tracing. Seven percent of people testing positive in May did, and the total jumped to 20 percent in June and July.
