People in Wisconsin won’t be able to vote for rapper Kanye West in the presidential election.
The state Elections Commission decided not to put him on the ballot, in a 5-1 vote today. West’s campaign workers just missed the 5 p.m. deadline to turn in his nomination papers.
West’s campaign attorney admitted the workers didn’t make it into the building until 14 seconds after 5 p.m. He contends they should’ve had until 5:01 p.m. to file.
