There are 826 more confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin, and that’s the most in a single-day since last Saturday.
The state is reporting 7.8 percent of tests came back positive. That’s up 7.5 percent yesterday, and the third straight day of increases. The seven-day average is down to 7.6 percent.
There have now been 69,059 cases overall. The state has 7,918 active cases, and that’s the lowest total since July 14th.
One more person has died, bringing the total of confirmed deaths to 1,068.
Brown County has 57 more cases, Fond du Lac 24, and Outagamie 23. Winnebago and Oconto each added 14.
Calumet has 11 new cases, Waupaca eight, Manitowoc seven, and Shawano five.
Kewaunee and Waushara both have four more. Green Lake added one.
