Voters in the eastern half of Greenville will decide on November 2nd whether to become a village.
Town Administrator Joel Gregozeski says they would look to bring the entire town back together, if the referendum on the presidential election ballot is approved. Fox Crossing and Harrison did that, when they became villages.
Only people living in the proposed incorporated area will be able to vote on the referendum.
Gregozeski says they want to move forward to protect town land from being annexed. He says keeping that tax base would help the town provide services.
