Kenosha County’s top prosecutor will ultimately have to decide whether to file state charges in the Jacob Blake shooting.
District Attorney Michael Graveley urged federal prosecutors to also review what happened. U.S. Attorney Matthew Krueger says his office will move forward with a civil rights investigation.
Graveley hopes the community would be able to heal quicker, because both decisions might be released around the same time.
