Oconto County officials are seeing a jump in COVID-19 cases, and they’re concerned about the Labor Day weekend.
The total number of cases has doubled over the past three weeks, going from 200 to 407. Hospitalizations have also doubled, from 13 in mid-August to 27 last week.
Sixteen percent of tests came back positive over the past two weeks.
The Oconto County Health Department is urging weekend visitors to avoid large groups, and stay home if they feel sick.
