Today is expected to be the busiest day on the roads during the Labor Day weekend.
Like over Memorial Day and Independence Day, AAA Wisconsin spokesman Nick Jarmusz expects there will be fewer cars. He thinks people will head home either Sunday or Monday, with kids having to go back to school on Tuesday.
He thinks travelers who typically fly somewhere for a weekend getaway might decide to drive to a closer place this year.
Out of the three holiday weekends, Jarmusz says Labor Day traditionally has the least amount of traffic.
